In today's guided lesson, we are going to discover how to draw a bald eagle drawing on paper. The size of each of the drawn parts will be observed in each step of the lesson. Observe that the blue lines are used to indicate the new shapes being drawn in each step.

Draw The Head
Start your eagle drawing by outlining the head. Draw an inverted U shape and then add zigzag lines at the bottom.

Add The Eyes And Beak
Then, draw the beak and the eye of our fierce bald eagle.

Outline The Bald Eagle's Body
Draw the left and right side of the body just under the head similar to the drawing shown here.

Add The Feet
Do not forget to add the feet in between the eagle's body.

Draw The Wings And Tails
Lastly, draw the wings on both sides of the body and add the tail under the feet.

Complete The Drawing
Color the bald eagle using brown, white and orange colors!

A Majestic Bird

Bald eagles primarily live near water and feed primarily on fish, though they will take other prey if the opportunity presents itself. Bald eagles can be found as far north as Alaska, as far south as Northern parts of Mexico.
Bald eagles are most famous for being the nation's national bird and symbol of the United States.
Bald eagles can fly as high as 10,000 feet – that's close to 2 miles high above the ground!
